I was quite intrigued when i first saw this foundation hit the selves of my local Priceline store and wanted to try it out.
Here's how Loreal Paris describe this product:
"Eau de Teint Nude Magique Foundation reinvents traditional foundation with a formula lighter than water for a no-makeup feel and a perfect nude finish. Shake it and discover on your fingertips a texture lighter than water, as light as a feather. Perfectly invisible, invisibly perfect. Our ideal nude"
This foundation gives a light, but build-able coverage, for very comfortable wear.
I definitely agree with Loreal in saying that it is a very light, watery consistency which gives a very skin like appearance and feel to the skin.
The finish is like no other foundation i have tried, it sets to a very velvet-like satin finish and i love it!
The way this foundation sets to an almost powder finish means there is no need to further set it down with another powder, this helps to leave your skin looking natural and allows it to breath.
I really enjoy the packaging of this product, with the frosted glass and metallic purple lettering and cap.
One downside to this foundation is that it doesn't come with a pump, so make sure to keep up with proper sanitation when using it.
The other downside is the colour selection, unfortunately this only comes in 6 shades bouncing from pink and neutral undertones. I have the shade 140 'Pure Beige' which is the second lightest in the range. I find this colour to be too dark for myself but being a lighter coverage i can get it to work.
This does contain an SPF of 18 so it has a chance to cause flashback in photography, i use this as a lazy day foundation so i'm yet to use it in photographs.
I like to apply this with a traditional flat foundation brush, first dotting a small amount on to my face then lightly blending out with the brush.
As i said earlier, this foundation sets by itself but i still like to do a light dusting of translucent powder down my t-zone area aswell.
I give this foundation an 8\10 and i would recommend it.
