Sleek True Colour Lipsticks

I have 14 shades. Don't ask - they had a sale a long time ago.  Now, I'm going to try and keep this as pain free as possible.

Positives: compact size, affordable, there is a wide range of shades/textures and can often be bought in 3 for 2 offers or on Sleek's website on sale.
Negatives: in store selection is limited, matte shades tend to collect colour in lip creases and the packaging on one lipstick did fall apart but, it was easily fixed.
Other notable features? No scent, some shades stain, comfortable formula & great pigmentation.
Arm Swatches of all 14 shades
Now, for the lip swatches - I've included what Sleek has suggested the colours to be and a little explanation about whatever sprung to mind for each shade. I've tried to keep it relatively succinct.

Lip Swatches

Amped: a matte blue based bright pink.
Out of this world brightness. If you're in need of a bright head turning shade - ya found it. I'm not sure how your computer device see's this shade but its a bright pink (I think my camera makes it look blueish purple). This shade/formula tends to skip in my lip lines so I use my finger to blend the shade in afterwards. Overall its a pretty fun colour.
Fuchsia: a sheen hot pink.
I think this was my first every fuchsia shade and its a great one too. Very similar to Amped but, slightly deeper in tone and has a as smooth sheen finish. Bellissimo.
Loved Up: a sheen bright hot pink.
Bright and bold. A great pink dewy shade for the lips that will suit a myriad of skin tones and sensibilities. Do not underestimate. Reminds me of my faved Succubus apocalipslick by Lunatic Labs Cosmetics in its boldness.
Mystic: a matte bright purple pink.
More pink in person. Very pretty & very fun. It really goes to show that great shades don't need to be bought at fancy, stuffy counters with inflated price tags. So gorgeous.
Heart Breaker: a matte bright coral pink.
This is a beautiful shocker that can create a soft stained lip look because of the matte formula. I've seen so many swatches of this and although it tends to have a life of its own on different skin tones, I can't say its ever looked anything less than stunning. Plus, its one of the first shades that got me into the bright lip colour game so, all I can be is grateful.
Papaya Punch: a matte bright coral.
Bisanations' video made me buy it.  Just like Amped I have to smooth this shade out with my fingers to get a smooth application. Its certainly reminiscent of heart breaker and is a beautiful hot coral that does mix well with other shades but, also looks captivating on its own. No regrets.
Exxaggerate: a matte mauve dark purple.
Has slight silver shimmer which adds an interesting edge to this lipstick and sleek's matte texture. Reminds me of Mac's Heroine but, the shimmer gives it a more unique and edgier look. I dig it so much that I ended up getting this and skipping on Mac (Mac<Sleek).
Stiletto: a matte warm toned red.
"I don't understand why I don't use this more?!" that was the sentence that popped in my head when I finished applying it. Shades can really get lost in makeup hoards *shakes head*. This is so beautiful that it must be warn ... must!!
Russian Roulette: a matte deep rich red.
A great matte red. I actually prefer this to Russian Red by Mac which I have but, haven't been inspired enough to share.
Smother: a sheen deep purple.
The most surprising shade of the bunch as in lipstick form - it looks deeper and darker than it really is. Yet don't worry - as on the lips its a really beautiful plum/purple shade that works great as a quick wash/stain of colour or of course, you can build it up. I consider it the underdog of sleek's true colour's collection but, also on of favourite shades of the bunch.
Cherry: a sheen dark red.
If ever there was a lipstick which should have cult status, cherry would be it. I think its the type of shade that everyone can appreciate and works pretty well with a variety of tastes and skin tones. Plus, I think everyone in the UK has this lipstick already ...  so it might as well go down in history as being a classic timeless shade.

Tweek: a sheen purple based brown.
Sleek suggests this as a perfect nude for dark skin and I'd agree. It has a nice purple tone to it that gives it an interesting edge and the sheen formula is great to add dynamic to what often could be a flat look.
Dare: matte dark burgundy.
A soft boudoir red. I think this shade mixes together vamp glamour and an idyllic soft romanticism really well. Yes it is daring but also quite sophisticated.
Vamp: matte brown based dark red.
Very similar to Dare but Vamp is more red and sensual. On me, vamp makes me think of burnt bricks and rustic embers omitting from a terracotta kiln. However depending on your skin tone it can and will look different - see Fresh Lengths amazing lip swatch for reference as vamp certainly looks more berry toned. Either way its a force to be reckoned with.

Price: £4.99 each

Summary: wonderful, comfortable, colourful and pigmented lipsticks that should not be snubbed.
